feel like buying binoc, but..

Post by bal0nz »

hi all
i was reading about astronomy the other day and found myself interested in it
so now i'm thinking of buying binoc as my first step into my new hobby :D
however being in a small city out of nowhere i cant seem to find any decent stores selling the stuff for real
so.. i wonder if anybody could give me any idea about the whereabouts should i browse for one maybe in singapore online shop...
bcause that way i can save money for shipping fee and taxes
anyhow i really need some online stores that can provide me alternatives for payment method since i dont own a cc
or is it really impossible to buy anything online without cc? (o, and id cant have paypal)

actually i feel like buying one of those 11x70/15x70 oberwerk or garretoptical binocs (if it isnt for the shipping fees etc etc..)

what's your opinion
and sorry for my inappropriate + stupid question

Hi, welcome to SingAstro.

If you do not mind owning a used bino, you can put up a 'Want to Buy' notice in the Buy and Sell forum. Alternatively, you can use the 'Search' function to search for 'WTS, Bino'. You could also look up for more information by looking at 'telescopes'. Read up around here. this will probably help you in your decision-making process.

I'm quite sure someone in SingAstro will have one bino suitable for you at a good price.

All the best in your purchase. :)

Maybe you can check with Astrobargain? www.astrobargains.com
I think he'll ship everywhere. International bank wire transfer for the payment.

In addition to the above-mentioned links, this will be useful info should you decide to move on from binos to telescopes...
