My Intro

Post by simranjits »

Hi everyone ,

Might as well intro myself , i'm 26 living in Bukit Batok.

Have experience with satellites and etc but new to telescopes etc.

Right now don't have a scope , looking for a second hand Meade Etx 80 or Ds114 or thereabout type scope if possible otherwise will have to buy new one.

My aim is to look at planets and DSO , and to observe satellites like iss , STS etc.

I'm thinking to bringing it back to Amritsar , Punjab someday to my in-laws place where i have a open rooftop view of the universe to do my observation someday.

welcome simranjit!
I heard from a friend the skies in India are very clear and excellent for astronomy...and with a rooftop view and maybe a deck chair and coffee, what nice combination!
