Ok, I will support and join in the observation session on Friday 26 Jan 07 from 7pm onwards. Is the observation on Friday only? I will bring a bigger scope if there is anyone who can volunteer with the transport... :)

Astronomy buff.

Lecturer at NUS High School. Led in the efforts of promoting astronomy to schools and tertiary education. Helped to build both NYP observatory and NUS High school observatory. Some of the people here know him much better.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your support, here I upload a direction map for those who will drive there. On the map, I marked NIE - National Institute of Education, the place holding last year's International Physics Olympics ( those of you who went there to attend the Astronomical Night must know the place); and I also marked PIE; the place called SADM - School of Art, Design and Media, is the place where we will hold the observing session.

To get to this site, you can first go on PIE and then find the way into Nanyang Drive or Nanyang Avenue. The site is on Nanyang Drive, if you came in NTU by Nanyang Avenue, just follow the road sign to find Nanyang Drive, then it will be easy to find the SADM building.

There is a carpark under the building.

For those who want to go there by public transportation, please inform me in this thread and then I can go to Boon Lay MRT station to pick you up.

Again thanks for your support!
