Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.
Go to North Spine of NTU, the building with a overhead bridge linking to NIE. (Landmarks: Canteen A, OCBC bank, Lee Wee Nam Library.)
Head to Level 2, just go up the stairs from Canteen A or take a lift. You will reach the rooftop area (no shelter, that is).
Head south, away from Lee Wee Nam Library, towards the fountain. There are various maps on this level, so you can check your position from there.
For those who want to go there by public transportation, please inform me in this thread and then I can go to Boon Lay MRT station to pick you up.
Thanks Jiahao, though this won't be necessary. I have my c5 and binoviewer on standby ready for the 1st quarter moon... if only we can get rid of the all-sky nebulae... :?
alamak...I missed this thread! In fact around 8pm just now I drove past NTU o my way home! BTW, a lecture at 4pm on a working will unlikely to draw many outsiders though...hope it was interesting.
richardII/jiahao, do post a report and pictures of the event!

Thank you for your attention Aironvent. Before the observation, many people like Richard, more than 20 pupils form a primary school and folks from Ruplic Poly Astro Club. However, it started drizzling when the ob was supposed to start, so actually nobody came except people from RP. Finally we just sat and talked with the RP folks inside the building on whose rooftop we wanted to hold the ob.
