Hi, I want to buy a portable power tank for my goto scope. I heard that it is available in Sim Lim. Which shop and how much?

You can find it in Sim Lim Tower (Sim Lim Square also got but only a few shops). I'm not sure the exact cost, but a 7AH SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) Battery and simple charger should cost around than S$50. But you need to DIY the power connector to the scope.

Hi,

To give an idea, the 26 AH sealed LA battery I am using cost 53 $$ and the 17 AH Jump starter battery with charger cost 80 S$.

For Batteries SimLim Tower Ground floor shops. YUSA batteries are expensive 26 AH selling for 90 S$. So try China Make.
For Jump Starters try Autobacs Singapore,Carrefour and Makro in Malaysia

How long will a 17Ah battery run on average with a GOTO scope, heaters and a laptop attached? :)

I did just that last evening with a 17Ah gel acid battery, on a laptop, GM8 with Gemini, and 2 Heaters. And guess what, it wouldn't last 3 hour! It turn out that the most power hungry device is not the heaters but the laptop.

You should run a separate battery for your laptop. :)

Hate to resurrect a dead thread, but I just spotted one in the classifieds 2day, $59.90 from carrefour, special intro price, usual price $99.90. Anyone can check it out and see how many aH the battery is?
