Here's a couple of moon pics I took last year with the portaball and a Canon Ixus camera handheld to the eyepiece :P

Thanks  I think there are many other better moon pics taken by other forumers.

Sandeep, I do not know what was the exposure as I just point-and-shoot in auto mode with the flash off.

The first shot is 1/60s at F/2.8, second one 1/250 at F/5.6, these can be read in the pictures' EXIF data.
Clear skies please...

On Monday the sky was clear, so I tried for the first time handholding a Canon A75 camera and taking pictures afocally from my Obsession dob.

This camera has CCD issues and the CCD was replaced once. I also used the Baader Moon/Skyglow filter to help filter off the yellowish haze around the moon.

Not the sharpest though as it was hard to focus and hold the camera at the same time...the LCD screen was also small so it was hard to see if it was well focused. :P

Attached are pictures taken through my 11mm Nagler T6 (has vignetting at the edges because of its short eye relief) and my 17mm Nagler T4. The images are unprocessed and uncropped...raw from camera.

Through 11mm Nagler T6:
