where to buy case with cube pluck foams?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

amin i'd love one too :)
j/k btw hehe , i'm too far to pick it up :P

btw guys, to help securing this nice case, i would suggest 2-3 elastic bungee cords. I use it for one of my case and it works like a charm.

hommel wrote:Hi Vincent,

Those aluminium cases that comes with pluck foam are quite hard to find, i manage to get one a year ago from a DIY store at Bugis Junction on the 3rd or 4th level (can't remember), the brand is Vanguard. I'm still using it today, way cheaper than pelican or storm cases.
rcj wrote:are you referring to Pelican cases? Or the more expensive italian ones? There are also similar cloned ones in the market right now. You can find them in Carrefour for the clone ones (usually in orange). The Pelicans can be purchased from Peninsula Plaza camera shops. The Italian ones can be found in Plaza Singapura (2nd or 3rd level) in the camera shop. If I am not wrong, there is only one camera shop in PS, but have forgotten the name. They are quite expensive too, dearer than Pelicans. Pelicans carry life time warranty, and though they are quite expensive still, it is a well worth purchase for precious equipment. The clones are popular as eyepiece storage boxes.
Hi,

I'm also looking for such cases with Pick N' Plunk foams. I went to Bugis Juction, Cathy's Camera Shop in Peninsula Plaza, and Carrefour in Suntec City and didn't find the Vanguard case or the Pelican case(there was a Pelican case in Cathy's Camera Shop, but it comes without foam, and it costs S$300+...), or the cloned Pelican case...

So anywhere else in Singapore can I get case Pelican cases close to there original price, or cheaper aluminum cases with Pick N' Plunk foams?

Hi,
You can try John 3:16 in Funan... I get my Pelican 1550 (with foam) from them. I think some pelican case got 3 model, without foam, with foam and with padded divider.

By the way, they close on Sunday.

Have a nice day.

Thanks weixing (especially mentioning it is closed on Sunday )!
By the way, I forgot to mention that I want the Pelican 1400 series, which will serve as an accessory case. The dimension is like 12"x9"x5". Don't know if anyone has seen it in Singapore.
Clear skies please...
