Newbies must grab this offer!
This is my first scope and I'm still loving it alot. I bought it new as a package bundled together with the Portamount at $1,600.

Thanks for the uppzz, Alvin (the scope is identical to the one shown in your avatar). Here's from Vixen website:
"The ED 80SF was initially listed as an entry level APO, but now with so many astronomers giving us such glowing reviews, it appears that we will need to reclassify this product! The ED80Sf refractor features high-grade glass and quality components. Coupled with a medium f/7.5 focal ratio, the ED "S" series provides a sharp, color-free image of high contrast. At only 22.4", this is our ultimate grab-n-go APO travel scope."

Still available?
This is a good scope that will not disappoint beginners and can also act as a good second scope for experienced amateur astronomers. I have enjoyed the same model thoroughly (just had very good views of Venus recently... the Goddess of Love is a beauty herself
)
I'll be selling mine soon (after yours) as I plan to add bigger-aperture scopes to my current inventory
