Hi yanyewkay,
It is called a bino-viewer. Yes, it does allow one to view using both eyes which is much more relaxing. However, using the binoviewer usually will result in high magnifications, not wide-field low power views.
There are several models on the market now. Can get for around under S$400 including two eyepieces. Try the friendly singapore dealer called Astrobargains:

Or you can see if anyone wants to sell theirs second hand.

Hey, $400 for a binoviewer is not expensive, considering the cost of camera lenses!
I do have one modified from a microscope head. If you like, you can borrow it to try. Once you use it on the moon, you will be hooked.
MCTs and SCTs are very suited for this due to the long back-focus capability.
PM me if you want to borrow to try.

Hi yanyewkay,
Further to my post this morning, i would like to add that the Baader binoviewer shown in the link you quoted above:
http://www.starmatrix.biz/baader_maxbrightbv.php
... would of course be available from the website Starmatrix. I didn't realise the link was Starmatrix's, only saw the large Baader logo! Was blurry-eyed at 7.25am when posting, ha.
I had gotten mine from Astrobargains a month ago (different model), and therefore I mentioned that you can get it from there.
The folks at Starmatrix are very nice people too! I think Baader is a higher-end brand. I didn't know Starmatrix carry binoviewers in Singapore!

Hi,
Have a nice day.
See through one before... I think it was Pentax XW 20mm. Very nice view and quite comfortable.incidentally, has anyone tried their binoviewers with Pentax XWs? Is this even possible? I would suppose one would need to have a narrow nose bridge... lol
Have a nice day.
