Seems Canon is out with a new DSLR with a new range of XF lenses that could be ideal for wide field astrophotography, and a chip that boasts extremely low noise, probably rivaling current mid range astronomical CCDs. Check it out here:

Isn't Canon is spelt with a single N in the center, this 0D spell with a double NN as CANNON. So, very likely a April fools joke.
