Meng Lee wrote:Hi, I just uploaded a moon mosaic in the album. Yes the details are much better. But the sheer amount of work to take the avi files and the huge amount of hard disk space used and the uniformity needed in the processing later together with the piecing of the "jigsaw" together makes me a bit scared to do it again, hehe.
Nice shot!

KingKong : This is the difference between a single shot and a mosaic. Notice the contrast and details you can't get from one wide view image alone.

But the amount of work is much more. Especially since its my first attempt, the difference in brightness between the different patches and field rotation due to lousy polar alignment cause the job of stiching them together amazing difficult.

But thanks to the auotmatic feature in MaxIm DL 4.5, this is automatically corrected! hehe
