Hi Weixing and IceAngel,

Lantau is kinda bright. Been there before. Ice Angel, you may consider the Sai Kong Islands up north. I think you can go by Stanley.

Hahaha.. HKUST is in Sai Kong. We have tried going to one of the beaches in Clear Water Bay, it is still no better than Mersing. HK is still very light polluted like Singapore. :( This the major problem of Developed Country.

By the way, last time my committee nearly joined HKU astro club to go inner Mongolia for star trip. But due to some unhappy discussion and conflict, it is cancelled. So now I am thinking of finding ways to create an oversea trip ourselves. Actually going Australia will be great, but not everyone can afford that cost as everyone is still students. So I am thinking of going somewhere that I had been to, so they can trust me on planning that.

However, it is still in consideration. We still have to find some times that everyone is free to go on the trip.. :)

I have updated the original post with a link to the temporary website that contains more details on the trip. We no longer offer the 4D3N option, so it is solely a 3D2N trip now. FYI, here is the link:

Maybe Kota Kinabalu? It's in Sabah, a state in East M'sia - Borneo Island . :) What I would call "Perfect Skies" .. :)
