What is the max load for the NEQ3?
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

Apart from these, there is another product by Synta Tech , a multi purpose , "Camera +Bird watching and 70 mm refr astro scope combined "product featured in an ad in June S&T. But do not remember a name attached to it

I am not sure about the Max load of eq3, but I would guess it should be a around 4kg.

The celestron Vistapix seems to be a one to one correspondence to the Synta multipurpose camera.

YES, that equinox 120 is TEMPTING! Users of ED80 and ED100 knows that the Synta does make decent APO scopes! I also wonder what's the price for it!

It looks the Eq3 has an autoguider port there. If so, it will be the most portable and cheap equatorial mount with GOTO and autoguiding capabilities!

who sells Sky watcher around here? McGill? They seem to be very quiet thesedays. Are they still selling scopes?

ya McGill sells them, and also the vendor in Singastro, HoO, House of Optics sells them also. I think there are others but I am not sure who else.

strange, this new line of Equinox scopes was launched very quietly with almost no news from vendors. I thought this line of scope was suppose to be their flagship products
