Hi,

Have a nice day.
Yes... only coma corrector and no other filter was used, so this is basically the image of M20 at visible light. Also, I don't have an unmodified DSLR and I don't intend to modify my DSLR at the moment as I also use it for normal photography.only coma corrector and no other filters?
Great! Did you image with the Ha filter?? Would like to see the Ha version.Nice Weixing! Lots of colours!

Here is my version. I tried to image this on the Mewlon to yield a larger image scale. Even with the help of the reducer, at F9.3 the Mewlon is way to slow, loosing a lot of light along the way. The camera failed to capture the blue blue region where I think the modified camera has no advantage.
The captured data are as follow: 28x140s colour exposures at ISO800 & 18x270s HA exposures at ISO800.

Hi,
Have a nice day.
Hmm... I take a look at my image, the blue channel and green channel are the strongest. A modified camera shouldn't affect the blue channel... May be you are too aggressive with your processing??The camera failed to capture the blue blue region where I think the modified camera has no advantage.
Have a nice day.

The reason why cataclysm's photo is poor in blue is simple. Because his H-alpha photos (which doesn't have blue and green spectrum) have exposure that is longer that his colour photos. So when you stack them together, you see very poor blue.
If he stack only his colour photos, I bet he will see all the blue and green.
