Hi all,
After much deliberation, I have decided to sell the following:
1) Meade 8" SCT - $900
with UHTC coatings, comes with original 8X50 meade finderscope (minus the cross hairs) and 1.25" visual back
2) Antares 2" Enhanced mirror diagonal (SCT type) - $100
Take both for $980.
Please PM me if interested.

Kayheem, not that I am interested, but for the benefit of those who are keen, can you state if it is just the OTA?

good idea, row.
It is for the OTA only. It comes with the standard Vixen-type dovetail bar.

Hi Sandeep,
There are no issues with the scope. The only thing is slight rusting of the small bolts, which is common for such SCTs.
Scopestuff sells stainless steel replacements. This tells you that this is a common problem, even in the USA.
The OTA is about 2-3 yrs young. I will try to post pics in the next couple of days as I will be back late tonight.

Btw, one can easily get small stainless steel bolts in Singapore, there is no need to order these from Scopestuff.

if the bolts are metric sized, you can try the shops opposite the jalan besar stadium. a single bolt on average is less than $0.20. if they're imperial sizes, the stock may not be so wide

That is why I mentioned getting from scopestuff. No need to take samples out to measure the size. :-)
