New eyepieces from Vixen

Post by mrngbss »

Just saw these new eyepieces from Vixen. Maybe that's why there was a big sale of the older ones.

60 deg AFOV is 'so small'? Looks like you need that eyepiece with 100 deg AFOV! :)

NLV do not have 60 deg AFoV... it's 42 deg AFoV for NLV40mm, 45 deg AFoV for NLV2.5mm to NLV6mm and 40 deg AFoV for NLV9mm to NLV25mm. The NLV eyepiece specification look the same as LV eyepiece and the list price is also the same, so I think it may be the same LV eyepieces... with a new look.

Have a nice day.

Oops! See what happens when I can't read Japanese...

I don't suppose it would be the just the same specs in a new package, usually there has to be some improvement in performance. Lets see if McGill will have some available for comparison. :)

Hi,

ha ha ha... I also can't read Japanese... just do some guessing base on the Chinese character and of course the chart in Vixen website: http://www.vixen.co.jp/at/option/at-op_05.htm

Anyway, I think it's LV eyepiece with Pentax XL/XW style eyeguard.

Have a nice day.
