New telescope YAHOOEE!!

Post by Barry »

Heres the first pic taken with the new telescope. This is just one exposure. No stacking. I love it! Cant wait to do some long exposure stuff tonight!

For those who like details...

Triffid Nebula. 92 Second exposure. Cannon EOS400D Digital SLR on Skywatcher Pro series ED80 Apochromatic refracting telescope. Piggybacked on a polar aligned Celestron Nexstar 11 inch Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope and manually tracked using an illuminated reticule eyepiece.

New scope, eh, Barry?

This may explain the wacky weather you guys have been experiencing down under!

Hi,
Nice... By the way, what is the ISO and image format you used (RAW)??

Have a nice day.
