Wow.. I have 80mm toxicity already! So many 80mm scopes..
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

My tmb 80/600 got the aluminium tube and FT focuser. Optically it is very good and outperforms any other 3 inch APOs I've seen through.

I dunno...

I'd rather spend a little more and get the Stellarvue SV80S. With all the controversy surrounding TMB, I'm alittle scared buying from them.

With Stellarvue I'm confident of the product I'll get from them.

It is between APM and TMB regarding the original TMB scopes as well as the TMB planetary eps.

Overall, not a good state of affairs for the brand. Unfortunate since it seems like a good product and Mr. Back is a great person.
