Can 90mm Mak use a focal reducer?

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

as long as the rear cell can be fitted with an adapter (like the Meade ETXs) to a SCT-class thread, you could use those F6.3 reducers, but I am not sure of the resultant quality of the images from a 90mm Maksutov that u mentioned. You might want to find out more about 1.25" F5/F3 reducers from OPT as well. Again, not sure about the resultant optical quality. You could email them.

Oh, I have the adapter that makes the Mak visual back into a SCT kind of thread.
