Congrats to Hommel who had an exact guess! :) Pls PM me to arrange for collection of your prize :) Interestingly, only 2 persons estimated a higher price while the vast majority under-estimated. See guesses here:

Anyway, Televue has certainly made it very easy for me to come to a decision on whether to buy one: NO WAY!! US$620 for an ep is just too much!

Agreed. Though I have not upgraded my Pentax 14XL yet, I will not pay 620USD even though I had expected and guessed it quite close... :) Afterall, for that price, one can almost buy 3 new 14XWs! And I am comfortable enough with the 70 deg AFOV, good eye-relief and optical quality of the XWs.

Wow about the same price as the 31 Nagler. Tooooo expensive.

But it is not 1000 usd as guessed by Tachyon. S$1000 maybe ha.
The price is still more than a 13T6 + 16T5 Naglers.

Hmm... according to OPT, the list price for the Ethos is USD775, selling price USD620. And the five most expensive EPs they currently available are:

1. Televue 31mm Nagler Type 5 - USD 640

2. Televue 26mm Nagler Type 5 - USD 600

3. Televue 41mm Panoptic - USD 500

4. Pentax 30mm XW - USD 499

5. Pentax 40mm XW - USD 499

I knew TV will charge a premium for it, but I didn't guess it will be that high a premium. Anyway, am deciding if I should buy it now or wait for NEAF? :P
