Well, since you are already a part of Singastro (home to the largest number and widest variety of scopes in Singapore ! 8) ) , you don't really have to struggle with the problems involved in buying a scope now since the situation is what it is now. You are still very young and there is still a wealth of opportunities in the future !

For now, just feel free to join us at any of our observing sessions and use ours. And rather than giving yourself a mental torture in worrying about a scope or no scope now, why not take this "opportunity" presented by the rainy season to fill yourself up with more knowledge, facts and information about Astronomy in general instead 8)

There are actually quite a few methods. For digital cameras, there are special adapters which are made to fit the specific camera, and allow you to attach the camera onto the eyepiece directly. A few types can be found here :

Hi,
There are few ways to do this depend on what type of digital camera you have.

For my case, I use a eyepiece design for digital camera, so I just attach to my digital camera and insert in as a normal eyepiece. This is by far the easiest way to do it. You can use this method to take planet, moon and some deep sky objects. But remember, if you want to take good deep sky image, a good mount is a must and that is not cheap.

Hope the information is useful to you and have a nice day.

anyway.. i have a question.. how do you use a digital camera for a scope to take picture?? snap on the eyepiece or use a cable to connect to the scope and take picture?? :?
dun worry la.....when you come out to work next time, you can buy anything.

Or go work at McDonalds during holidays.....and save some money for these.

I used to work at Mc, KFC, Pizza Hut and Burger King when I was young. It was pretty fun.....can chase skirts at the same time too....
