The Sun on 22nd September

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

The Sun on 22nd September

Post by mrngbss »

The Sun is spotless these days, indicate low activity. However, under H-alpha view, we can still see some of its activities.

A note on post editing prominence. It is quite interesting to see how the various features of the prominence appeared while adjusting the Curves values (within Photoshop). I can decide 'more' or 'less' prominences to appear.

Enjoy the pictures 8-)
