That's the australian company's (Wildcard Innovations) Argo Navis Digital Setting Circles Device (or DTC). It's quite popular with australian dobsonian users. Heard it is now incorporated with TPAS (Telescope Pointing Analysis System)....

Yup. Its Argo Navis. Probably the best DSC around.

Yes that is the Argo Navis DTC. It is the most powerful DSC around with the most number of features and largest database.

The Tour Mode is the best application allowing the DTC to generate targets for the user at user selectable FOV, type of objects and magnitude. This allows one to find targets based on the current weather.

It also has the TPAS if one wants to have the highest accuracy possible. The unit is smart to even model the errors in the mount, and compensates them. Some observatories uses the Argo Navis because of its accuracy.

there was an oppotunity to win one sample during the trip to the australian star party...argh! but there were plenty on sight next to all the big obsessions...quite cool to use.
