anyway so my telescope (newtonian reflector, celestron powerseeker 114) has been in storage for a while... i hadnt had the chance to air it out or anything so now the mirror has molds... the viewing is not affected much.. but im bothered because i dont want it spread all over the mirror..
where can i buy good cleaning stuff (without needing to recoat the mirror and such)...
also can someone help me collimate it if i take it apart for cleaning? hehehe
thanks!
Need to clean my mirror!

You can refer to this instructions:
http://www.opticalmechanics.com/mirror_cleaning.htm
Note that this is for a truss dob... for your case, you need to take out your mirror and follow the 'washing instructions' with distilled water. Actually you can use tap water (place the mirror in the sink with some towel on the bottom) to run water on the mirror, only the FINAL WASH (the wash before you start drying the mirror with the paper towel), do you use Distilled Water so that there will not be water marks left on the mirror.
Also, after washing you need to assemble back your mirror and recollimate the optics.
You can get Distilled Water at NTUC Fairprise..it is bottled like a normal mineral water. You need to ask the staff for Distilled Water and read the label before buying.

a point to add or take heed: upon final wash with distilled water, the mirror is kept dry but using a simple air blub blower to 'blow' off the minute droplets left. In this case, there is absolutely no 'solid based' contact with the mirror and thus avoiding tiny streaks. Laborious, but it helps to keep the precious mirror in fine condition. I do this for my newt mirror.
