The sky clear up on about 3:30am. Manage to capture the comet in B/W.

Hi,
WOW!! Excellent image!! Can see the core and the "small tail"... :shock: :shock:

By the way, I guess the comet position move quite a bit during the 30min exposure as there are star trails, so did you manual align on the comet during image processing or did you guide on the comet??

Hi,

I let the software to do the alignment job which I selected the comet nucleus as center reference for alignment.
I not guide on the comet during exposure but do guiding using a star nearby.

Best picture of the comet I've seen so far!
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]
