Some of you might remember I was asking to borrow a Meade AutoStar CD cos the one that came with my DSI was spoiled. (I did manage to borrow one from a dear SingAstro-ian
)I emailed OPT but they said they were out of CDs and cameras so they couldn't send a replacement but they would let me know if they get more.
Also, since I sent the camera using Vpost (they can't sell Meade stuff overseas), I thought I had to use Vpost to get the CD (I mentioned this to them).
Well, I arrived home today and I saw a package from OPT waiting for me. Since I didn't order anything recently, I was pretty surprised.
The Meade AutoStar was waiting for me!! Mailed direct from OPT. Internatianal postage paid! (even though it's just a few dollars)
This is what I call excellent service.
Now I won't hesitate to order from OPT even if it costs slightly more (which isn't normally the case)... just for the assured after sales service.
