SV F80M FinderScope as a TravelScope
Hi,
I don't think the F80M is suitable for medium or high power as it is only an F4 objective. You will have lots of colour. You can consider:
1) The common ST80 (80mm F5 short tube refractor)
2) Orion/Skywatcher 90mm MCT
The 90mm MCT from Orion is only USD30 more. It has a slightly larger aperture, able to go higher power with no false colour and very portable. If you can find one 2nd hand on Singastro, it will definitely be within your budget.
