venus and moon

Post by fiona_ »

was admiring the sheer beauty of a very bright venus next to the crescent moon in a dusky sky at around 7pm but when i tried to look out for this pairing just now ( 11.30 pm ) , all i saw was a lone venus. Where's the moon ? An eclipse has taken place just now ? I'm pretty sure that it was venus i saw.

Hi,
Hmm... The Moon and Venus should already set around 2 hours ago. :?: So I think what you see is not venus. Which direction did you look at ?

Have a nice day.

I think it is jupiter and you are looking at the east, because when you look at east, the Orion is way behind it.

Have a nice day.
