Hi,
Most Astronomy book use the 4 season for northern hemisphere:
Spring: March - May
Summer: June - August
Autumn: September - November
Winter: December - February
Please note that when we say Winter Sky, it usually mean the sky at around 9pm during Winter months. Generally, for every six hours afterwards, the sky for the next season appear. For example, you'll be able to see the Winter Sky in January at 9pm and at 3am, you will see the Spring sky. So, in general, you will be able to see the sky of 3 season in one night.
Have a nice day.
