Batu Layar (Malaysia) Trip THIS SATURDAY?

Post by rcj »

Hi,

Is anyone keen on a leisurely "grab-and-go" concept trip to Batu Layar this Saturday (5th April 2008). Transport cost per person is about SGD$40, which includes the boat ride from the new Changi Village ferry terminal, and then a short taxi ride to the exact location. We could stop over at Sunggei Ringgit town for "zhi char", or so. Meeting time on Saturday is around 1pm at Changi Village Food Center. We can be back in Singapore (Changi Village) at 10AM next morning.

Some pictures from past trips to Batu Layar:

There are toilet and bathing facilities there. But we need to bring a tent in case of light rain. The beach front is better than Mersing (and more photogenic), and you could do some swimming in the late afternoon.

Please get back to me immediately via SMS at 82333798 if keen! Not much time.

Sorry for the last minute suggestion!

This is NOT an April Fool's Joke. I'm serious!

Is this the place with sand flies?
