Hi guys!
I have searching thru all resources that i have access to but i still can't find an ans. Was helping you guys can help me out.
On tuesday night, at around.. erm.. 11 to 1am? I was peering thru my kitchen window for some stars. I was do some simple obs using my 6x30 finder and remember observing the 4 stars of ursa major right in front. It was then that a small patch of clouds cleared and 2 other stars appeared. They were on right of ursa major. At that time, i could see from my compass that ursa major slightly left of north. The 2 stars were slighty right of north. They were around 40 to 50 degrees high.
A look thru my finder showed 2 bright dots. In fact, i thought that one of them was mars as i don't notice any flickering. The other star however, flickered. It was like 3 mins where the clouds started coming in again and blocked out everything. Even ursa was gone.
It was then that i recall that that couldn't be mars. So i retreated back to my computer and attempted to mark out all the stars i saw. But i just cannot find those 2 stars. I have been trying to get a look last night but the weather was bad. Will try tonight as sky looks promising.
But till then, can anyone tell me the star/constellation i saw?
Thanks
Razsky
