Or stretch yr budget a bit and you can get the Starblast Astro scope from Astrobargains. If you do a search you can find many
glowing reviews on this scope.

To start off immediately, why not get vincent's 80mm vixen and mount to your existing tripod for quick wide field views.

go science centre and see.... it's like putting a kid in a candy shop and telling him that he cant buy anything ... LOL ... gonna have itchy fingers ....

i have contacted Vincent, but another Singastorian got to him before me.. so.. keep my fingers crossed....

nononono! SEE ONLY! i'm not saying anything bad about them..budden lemme give u an analogy..

you go in a candy shop and see a sweet. it cost 1 dollar for 1 sweet.

then you go online and see the same sweet. and you buy and ship it over direct to your doorstep. you pay 50 cents.

oh no no... u didnt say or imply anything bad abt them...
i was just saying that its going to be ssssoooooo tempting to just get a scope from there.. on impulse... and then later find out you can get it at a better price online...and then i end up kicking myself

speaking of which, are there any online stores that you would recommend?

Yes, it's always cheaper to get your own sweet online, but you'll need to take note it's always possible for the sweet to go bad when you receive it and you'll have to send the sweet back for a replacement at your own cost and time.
