Post by acc »

Hi all
Will be travelling to the US for work around end-march. i shall be taking the opportunity to either visit Oceanside Photo&Telescope (www.optcorp.com) or do a mail-order from them. I may also order from Orion.

If any of u wants me to buy anything on your behalf from above 2 shops(small items only!! ) , please let me know wat u want to buy.

cheers

Hi,

What is the cut-off date for us to inform you if we want to order something from either shop ?

Thanks.

Hi Sam: No specific cut-off date as long as the order size is still manageable. Will be leaving around end-mar for abt 2 weeks.

(But for pple whom I do not know or whom I am not familiar with, I will have to ask for advance payment...)

hi cc, just wondering if I can order an orion soft padded case for 8" sct (http://sctscopes.net/SCT_Tips/Need_to_H ... _have.html). Orion don't make this case anymore, but opt may have some old stocks. You can put all your accesories in this case during your travel.

Hi ariefm
I am afraid I can't manage any more luggage... :P Rite now, I can only take one or two more orders for eyepieces or filters; things that I can stuff into my suitcase.

cheers

Good news! Have received the goodies from Orion, and those who have ordered stuff through me can contact me after next tuesday to arrange for collection at either Science Park 1 or Delta Ave.

I am in New Mexico now and enjoying the clear dark skies :) Unfortunately don't have any scopes or bino with me...

HI CC
can always order the APO80 from Orion while you are there...to tide over the period when you do not have your Portaball...enjoy yourself!
