Post by letburn »

Hi everyone !

Zephyrus and i have kinda decided to head down to the field beside Buangkok MRT to catch the coming lunar eclipse event , something i guess no one here will like to miss (:

i'll be bringing some friends and my 5" newtonian , along with zeph and his 8x42 bino for viewing .

we sure hope that people who knows the sky , or anyone whos interested to join us . bring friends too if you want to , even naked eye viewing is spectacular .

Quoting weixiang :

P1 -> 16 Aug 2008 18:23:07 UT (17 Aug 2008 02:23:07 SGT)
U1 -> 16 Aug 2008 19:35:47 UT (17 Aug 2008 03:35:47 SGT)
Greatest Eclipse -> 16 Aug 2008 21:10:08 UT (17 Aug 2008 05:10:08 SGT)

P4 -> 16 Aug 2008 23:57:06 UT (17 Aug 2008 07:57:06 SGT)

Yeah, and on top of that, if anyone living nearby wants to come over to check out the field.. I'm available anytime (best on weekends). Just post here, or drop me a PM and I'll give you my contact info. You don't have to bring any equipment if you don't want to, cause I'll bring along my binoculars.

think to driving for this eclipse to the west coast of Malaysia this saturday night...
tonight I go do some test shooting from several spots in Singapore, instead I don't go cross the bridge...
like to find a total clear view for this event, prefer the sea of course... nice to see some reflections of the moon in the water...
anyone the same plans?
