I always write long reports but will keep it short as I was out there the whole day and night and now dog tired!
Met alot of old faces and it has been some time since we had such large singastro gathering. The many participants that came gave everyone a good feeling it was a complete success. I met Cindy for the first time (since I know her years ago!) , caught many old singastroians and peeped through a coronado for the first time.
If it were confirmed, one highlight that was regretable was the ISS made a 15 sec appearance and none of us had our scopes set up yet! It was the first time I caught it.....
Mr Au also got a well deserved lifetime achievement award for his untiring efforts in bringing astronomy to the masses!
Anyway, will keep my report short so others can share too.
In addition, would like to thank Remus and everyone who contributed their efforts to make this event an enjoyable one for all. The working party had been working for weeks prior to the event and all day long and night as well to keep the event moving smoothly. Kudos to all! All in all it was a very well managed Astronomy 2008.

Here are a selection of photos for the events.
