Hi,
Not sure about mac as I don't use mac and those Astrophotography software (free one
) I use run in Windows only. I know remus use mac and he is very good in Astrophotography, but he now work in Australia and didn't post anything recently... may be he is busy (working or imaging
).
Anyway, most of us use RegiStax ( http://www.astronomie.be/registax/index.html ) for lunar/planetary image processing as it's good and most importantly... free. It's only run in Windows, but I think you can run it on mac if you use those Windows emulation software.
By the way, I'll split the thread with a new topics about Mac Astrophotography software, so that may be there are other mac user here can help.
Have a nice day.

Try Keith's Image Stacker => http://keithwiley.com/software/keithsImageStacker.shtml
It may be a subset of astrophotography software needs though. Might open up lots more avenues if u have Bootcamp, or Leopard and have XP running...
