Hi,
Not sure about mac as I don't use mac and those Astrophotography software (free one :P ) I use run in Windows only. I know remus use mac and he is very good in Astrophotography, but he now work in Australia and didn't post anything recently... may be he is busy (working or imaging :P ).

Anyway, most of us use RegiStax ( http://www.astronomie.be/registax/index.html ) for lunar/planetary image processing as it's good and most importantly... free. It's only run in Windows, but I think you can run it on mac if you use those Windows emulation software.

By the way, I'll split the thread with a new topics about Mac Astrophotography software, so that may be there are other mac user here can help.

Have a nice day.

Thanks Weixing. Yes I have emulation software so it should be okay. Will give it a try.

Do you know of any outing where newbies who are interested can go out and try astrophotography with experienced people like yourself?

I'm loving this forum!

Try Keith's Image Stacker => http://keithwiley.com/software/keithsImageStacker.shtml

It may be a subset of astrophotography software needs though. Might open up lots more avenues if u have Bootcamp, or Leopard and have XP running...
