Talk on LHC @ NUS, 9 December 2008!

Post by zong »

There's a lot of talk about the LHC these days, so NUS has invited a guest speaker from CERN to talk about the LHC! Details below here:

Speaker: Prof. Bruno Mansoulié (CERN)
Date: Tuesday, 9th December 2008
Venue: NUS Faculty of Science, LT27
Time: 6.00 pm (there are 2 carparks near LT 27)

Note: Pls come early to get a seat (we expect a big audience)

The talk is free! So please do come down if you want to learn more :)

Regarding transport, the bus that will bring you to LT27 is 95, you can take it from opposite Buona Vista MRT station. If you are driving, there are a few car parks around. The nearest ones are the carpark at block S14, or the SoC block. You can refer to the campus map here: http://www.nus.edu.sg/campusmap/. Just choose "LT27" from the list below to zoom in to see where it is.
