The latest S&T issue (Jan 2009) has an 'evil' section on 'Hot Products for 2009' that threatens to reduce my bank account by a few digits!

Reading the specs: It uses Fujinon lens. It uses a highly sensitive monochrome camera. Inbuilt power supply , temperature sensor, heater and fan all contained in a nice weatherproof housing in one attractive package. Optional is the SonotaCo UFO capture programme.
I wonder how long the weather seals will last in the tropical sun. Once the seal breaks down misting will occur like our earlier imported weatherproof security cameras and they go blind.
Maybe YKChia's approach is a better bet but with empty housing from FireballCam and operate many cameras simultaneously at one station to observe a wider area of the sky.
