NUS - FoS 80th Anniversary + Prof Jocelyn Bell Talk!

In celebration of the Faculty of Science' 80th Anniversary, NUS is once again inviting Prof Jocelyn Bell back for a talk, and will also be holding a stargazing session after the talk. We hope you can join us in the event!

Date: Saturday, 28th Feb 2009
Time: 6pm (till overnight possibly!)

For School / Group Bookings above 10 pax, please email us at nusartfestival@nus.edu.sg with the following details.
- Name of School/Junior College / Polytechnic/ University
- Name of contact person (teacher's name) and contact phone
- Number of teachers/lecturers ?
- Number of students ? (Note: Not more than 50 including teachers for each school)
- Number of telescopes ? (Note: Equipment are to be set up at football field by 3pm)
- Number of binoculars ?
- Please indicate if you are attending both Pre-event talk and/or Main Star Gazing Session

Seats are limited for the talk, so please register early to avoid disappointment!!

Oh there is no astrophysics course in NUS. There is only an astrophysics minor within the Physics major.

Kim Miau, if it is announced here in singastro, it is open to everyone, including Malaysians certainly... We have several Malaysians living in Singapore as well, and they are all part of the astronomy community at large.
