This looks set to be a very big event! I heard over 700 public people registered for the night ob itself!

Just wondering, how many Singastro-ians are going and bringing telescopes for the stargazing event? I realised our registration system doesn't keep track of the number of telescopes going, so I'll need to know if you're bringing a scope so we can plan a space for your scope! If you are going, could you PM me so I can get a rough estimate.

Thanks in advance to all who are coming to support us for the event!

I attended one by her some time back.
Good lecture from the one who discovered the first pulsar in M1!

Yes it is possible to just attend the ob. The link up there allows you to register for either or both of the events :)

Would you be bringing your telescope?

Alamak... the seats are all booked at the main hall. Are we able to raise our hands up for questions after the talk if we're in LT28 for live broadcast?

Not very sure on that.. but it is worthwhile to just listen to her even! She's a very great speaker.

I should try to ask if they allow me to sit on the floor in the main hall.
