Haha, my friends, i live in Woodlands.
Normally i observe during the weekends at the hardcourt in front of my house.
Let's have an observation session next weekend. Anyone interested can just PM me their contacts.
The rest we'll leave it to the weather. :)

I drove past a LARGE field between Woodlands Ave 1 and Woodlands Drive 17 yesterday and thought it could be a good site for obs. Not sure about light pollution as I was there during noon. Anyone been there before? If not, I will explore again at night.

Hmm, i believe i been there for observation before, last time with a couple of SP Astro members . There's actually a nice gravel road there (maybe from an unfinished road) and on a sloped ground. You can go up to the top of the slope for a nice view.

Anyway the basketball court which i mentioned is at Drive 50 (not the one beside sports school) . Its beside the MRT tracks in between Admiralty and Woodlands (888 plaza there).

Talking about SPAstro, how's everything there ? I was a SPAstro member once together with Gary and rest. Hope its still active and doing fine.
I was hoping to go back and visit you guys again together with Terry and Mike.

Let me know when is your next observation. Perhaps you can post your activities here , this can be a west side active spot for Friday observations.
