Hi Singastro members,

On 28/2/09(this sat). A speical event at NUS.

Talk by Jocelyn Bell talk at LT27 and live video at LT28 at 6pm.

There Astronomy event from 4pm to 12am at NUS football field
(use carpark 10 to loan your equipment- Science Faculty.

I am calling all Singastro membesr with ot without telescope to come
and help us,

Wow... Astronomy and Poetry! Must be a first? Is the Poetry part going to be part of Prof Bell's talk or is it separate?

heard lots of effort in organising have been put in place by NUS and NUSAS. seems like a potentially exciting event. do come forth with your scopes, especially if you are staying nearby or have a car. Will have a scope there, but not in person. cheers!

Too bad the sky didn't co-operate with us. It seems like someone has just bought something gorgeous and brought the huge clumps of clouds to us. Haha..
