Marina Barrage has a lot of constructions around it and the powerful lights are not helping...

I think the limitation of East Coast, Marina Barrage & Labrador Park is the bus/MRT accessibility, especially for our students and those amatuer astronomers who do not drive. For me, East Coast is not an issue, though it may be jammed and difficult to find nearby carpark lots on Friday/Saturday evenings.

why not the esplanade? accessible, good traffic and the lights are not an issue for Saturn viewing. if cloudy lots of gastronomical distractions available .. [smilie=cool.gif]
