From our posting, it looks like we can start off our 1st session as follows:

Sidewalk Astronomy @ Tiong Bahru Park
Place: Tiong Bahru Park (opposite Tiong Bahru Plaza)
Date: Friday 29 May 2009
Time: 7.30pm to 10pm

Those who wants to join us for obbing, kindly add your name here (even if you are not bringing a scope). Anyone who would like to help do some publicity etc can contribute too.

I won't be able to make it as I've agreed to help out at a secondary school that night for the Shell Astro Challenge event: to show the kids the stars through a scope. Some others would be involved too in a dozen schools.

Its ok not to bring anything as it is good enough if our singastro members can just come to meet up and chat, so feel free to just put down your name, and come join in the event without a scope. Anyone who wants to bring food & drinks for this gathering are most welcome too!

Having said that, Clifford, would you mind to bring your 25x100 bino on 29 May for a side-by-side big bino testing?
