Post by THEO-007 »

WWWWWWWooooooooWWWWWWW. Good seeing today guys. And i saw the solar disk very well.

So i sketch him on paper first and next to the laptop. So you take the sketch from laptop.

I sketch exactly what i see.

So 3 Q.R.Filaments and enough prominences scattering around the solar limb.

So look what i see before one hour ago.

ABSOLUTE QUIET.

ABSOLUTE NOTHING.

The only phainomeno in surface is a FILAMENT. NOTHING ELSE.

So i`m going to sleep for a week.

Hi,Theo-007
There wae a very weak prominence on the sun and can be seen with the solarmax 90.Did photo it.If necessary can try posting it.Its a general rule that for weak prominences, larger scope can see while smaller scope cant.By the way can you see Cak images visually,or just by using the camera. For me only my camera can see, visually I cant see a thing.Thanks.

Small prominences can see towards by large scopes but i can see myself with all the coronado scopes where i have. With my scopes can you see easy little solar spicules.

With CaK i can do observation easy because my eyes has familiarized with this solar filters a long time before.

Everything is the good eyes here my friend not the scope.

It`s my opinion for solar observation..

Hi,THEO-007
Your eyes great.Tell you frankly, both my kid aged 16 and myself cant see a thing on the Cak scope and we see the images from the camera attached. The same thing happen when in one of the astronomical event in Singapore(should be around Aug last year);someone brought down a Cak PST but most viewer cant see anything.Something to do with the genes?

Look my friend. If you see inside CaK maxscope with plossls 25 - 17 - 15 you`ll see a lot of thinks. From there and beyond the observation is worst.

I`m 42 years old and believe me i see very well with plossls 25 - 17 - 15 perhaps and 12mm. I can sketch the disk with this plossls.
