Hi Guys, new here.

I'm actually a nature photographer and now trying out astrophotography, i can seems to capture the colour of jupiter

Web Page Name

I use a Canon 400mm lens, exposure is about 1s @ f/5.6

Hi,
Your Jupiter is overexpose and base on the size of it, it might also out of focus.

Don't depend on your camera metering... Jupiter is too small even you use spot metering. Use manual mode, shoot at wide open (at F5.6) and and use 1/80s at ISO100 for a start... adjust according base on the result.

Remember to check your focusing... use live view if your camera had one.

Thanks. Using Orion 8" dob using with 12.5mm and shot thru eyepiece.

Jupiter through webbcam

Hi,

Took this image a few nights ago. Used a C8 scope with a Creative webcam (LiveCam and yanked off the lens).

Obviously quite a first-timer, I will be grateful for any help. Thought the little bluish bulge at the centre belt should be red.
