welcome back Aaron! You have a new scope and mount! [smilie=cheer.gif]
Good first attempt but perhaps bring the level a little lower would be nicer? I am not into astrophotography so will leave it to Kelvin, weixing and the other Astro Greats to give you tips.

Hi Aaron good first attempt! You managed to capture pretty good details on the core. Since you are auto guiding, try for longer exposure and you will get the outer part of the nebula. Yes light pollution will always be a problem, try to use light pollution filter, it will help a great deal. :)

Thanks Cataclysm,

My maximum expose is 45sec after that cant see anything but sky glow, Definitely need LPF but don't know how it will perform. Yesterday I did modification of my Canon 300D I remove the IR filter replaced with AR glass, cannot try out because of the haze and clouds:(
If have time i post the outcome without the IR filter.

Regards,
Aaron

must better than my first, Aaron! Nice and crisp. Maybe the processed image can do with a little more reds in general. Is the 300D 'modded'?

Hi rcj,
I did my 300D modification after I took great nebula pictures. I think now i will have more red colour then before. I did some shots, now I can go up to 5min without sky glow I don't use any filter or light pollution remover. IR filter of the camera removed with other glass I think this one has some kind of light pollution remover effect it was special coated glass but don't know what
