Sky was pretty clear early on. Woke up and the first thing i did was to browse the hit list. Apart from a handful of meteors and plenty of lightning flashes a few sprites were detected over the sky in bintan/batam areas...
Single frame events. The 'carot' seems to retain luminosity for at least 2 frame. Theoretically it is possible to place another camera with narrow view in the general area to capture a much closer look. This translate to watching the screen and forgo sleep over holiday or weekends.
