There is this 7X50 binos for sale at the suntec carefour for only $22. I got myself a pair and I can say for the price, it is very good, less the bells and whistles (no multi coats). This center focus bino is light enough to be held steadily with hands for mins and have large enoug FOV to see large diameter DSO such as M45, M42. A good investment for both newbies and old-hands. Carefour do carry other types of no frills binos, but their casing are sealed, which means no way of checking the quality, thus not adviceable to purchase them

hmm its cheap but the quality is good or not?
