Hi,
Thinking of restart the sidewalk astronomy at Tiong Bahru Park. Initial plan will be this Friday, 19 Feb 2010 around 8pm to 10pm.

Anyone interested to join in??

I'll definitely try and be there.

What about large reserves like the Botanic Gardens and MacRitchie Reservoir? I haven't visited them at night but wouldn't they be quite dark? Maybe kind of creepy if you're there by yourself but good for a group? Quite a walk from the car though I guess...

This session is more for public, newbie and for members to gather, so convenience and easy access to all is important. This park is quite central and near mrt, so those who don't drive can still attend easily.

Hope more will join in and hope sky is clear.
